Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Key Specifications & Features
When it comes to the measurements, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is around 0.7mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold when folded, which isn’t a major difference. Even when unfolded, the phone is 5.0mm thick, which is 0.2mm thinner. The weight difference, however, is quite noticeable: 19 grams.
Google says the new glass fiber composite back and a redesigned gearless hinge make this Fold three times sturdier than last year’s model, while keeping the same IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Both the 6.5-inch inner and 8.0-inch outer Super Actua screens are 20% brighter at up to 3,600 nits. Under the hood, the Pixel foldable runs on the new Tensor G6 chipset, which is Google’s first chip to be based on 2nm fabrication technology, making it both faster and more power-efficient.
Out of the box, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs on Android 17 and gets seven years of operating system updates, which is still the best in the market. The standout software addition is sign-to-text, built with the Deaf community to translate American Sign Language into readable text through Live Transcribe.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a new primary camera, the same as the regular Pixel 11, but I’m disappointed it’s not the one on the Pixel 11 Pro models. The battery has shrunk down a bit, though it shouldn’t have an impact on the real world efficiency, especially since the chipset is much more efficienct than it used to be.

This is Google’s most refined book-style foldable yet, but it still has a long way to catch up to Samsung, especially in terms of the in-hand feel or performance for that matter. The Fold 8, on the other hand, is an entirely different ballpark, one that is paying out quite well for Samsung, something that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold doesn’t benefit from immediately.
