Oppo, a leading smartphone manufacturer, is gearing up to unveil its latest smartwatch, the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. While the release date is yet to be announced, the company has started teasing some of the key specifications of this highly anticipated wearable. In this article, we will explore the confirmed features and specifications of the Oppo Watch 4 Pro and discuss what users can expect from this next-generation smartwatch.

Oppo Watch 4 Pro Confirmed Specifications

In the latest development, the company has shared an official teaser on its Weibo handle confirming a lot of specifications. The Oppo Watch 4 Pro is confirmed to be powered by dual chipsets, namely Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor and the BES 2700 co-processor. This combination of chipsets offers improved performance and efficiency, ensuring smooth operation and seamless multitasking. One of the notable upgrades in the Oppo Watch 4 Pro is its increased memory. With 2GB of RAM, double the amount found in its predecessors, users can expect faster app launch times and smoother transitions between applications. The company claims a transfer rate of up to 4.2GB/s, providing a significant boost in performance.

Further more the teaser reveals that the smartwatch will feature a LTPO AMOLED display, although the exact size is yet to be revealed. However, what has been confirmed is that the display will support a full-color Always On Display (AOD) feature. With AOD, users can conveniently check information such as time, temperature, number of steps walked, and heart rate without fully activating the display, conserving battery life while ensuring important information is readily available.

Oppo is equipping the upcoming smartwatch with high-precision sensors to provide advanced health monitoring capabilities. The Oppo Watch 4 Pro will include an 8-channel heart-rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, a wrist temperature sensor, and an ECG sensor. These sensors will allow users to track their heart rate, blood oxygen levels, body temperature, and even perform electrocardiograms on the go. This comprehensive health monitoring feature set is a significant addition to the Oppo Watch 4 Pro, making it an ideal companion for fitness enthusiasts and individuals conscious about their well-being.

Oppo is teasing more than 85 ready-to-use independent applications for the Oppo Watch 4 Pro. These apps are expected to provide a wide range of functionalities without the need for a constant smartphone connection.

In terms of battery life, the Oppo Watch 4 Pro is expected to offer up to 5 days of usage in full smart mode. For users who utilize the smartwatch more lightly, the battery life can extend up to 14 days under light smart mode usage.

Release Date

Regarding the release date, there is speculation that Oppo may unveil the Oppo Watch 4 Pro alongside its new foldable smartphones at the same event in China. Some leaks suggest that the potential launch date could be August 29, although this information has not been officially confirmed.
