Oppo Reno5 K 5G with Snapdragon 750G goes official

Another entrant has been added to the Oppo’s Reno5 series in China – the Reno5 K 5G – that replaces MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G. The OPPO Reno5 K 5G includes an FHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display, 64MP quad cameras, 32MP selfie camera, and the latest Android 11.

Oppo Reno5 K 5G Features

Up front, the OPPO Reno5 K 5G has a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch hole on the left upper corner. The screen specs include a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel has slim bezels around the three sides with a thicker chin.

Internally, Oppo Reno5 K employs Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset with 5G support and two storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The device runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 11.1UI based on Android 11.

For photography, Reno5 K 5G employs quad-camera setup on the rear panel. It comprises a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP  depth lens. By the front, the phone employs a 32MP selfie camera inside the punch hole cut. 

Oppo Reno5 K 5G is packed with a modest 4300mAh battery with superfast 65W fast charging that can top it up in just 30 minutes. Security features include face unlock and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The new Oppo smartphone lets you connect with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.

OPPO Reno5 K 5G Price & Availability

Oppo has not disclosed the price of its new Reno5 K 5G, however, the phone will be available in the origin country for now. In India, the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ powered Reno 5 Pro 5G (review) retails at INR 35,990.
