Oppo is tackling the Indian Smartphone market very aggressively in 2016. The Chinese smartphone maker has now launched a new Oppo exclusive showroom in Jaipur, inaugurated by fast-medium swing and seam bowler Irfan Pathan.

Situated at Khatipura Road Jhotwara Jaipur, the new Oppo store covers an area of 350 sq feet, the store has been designed for a lucid viewing experience. This brings total number of Oppo exclusive stores to 5 in India, including the latest one launched in Chennai.

Speaking at the launch, Sky Li, OPPO Global VP, MD of International Mobile Business and President of OPPO India said, “This exclusive OPPO store is a part of our constant efforts to provide our customers with an interactive and informative buying experience. Looking at the huge potential of the Indian Smartphone market, we are speeding up our sales and service network and expect a fair growth and a bigger share of the market in the times to come.”

Earlier Oppo announced that it will be manufacturing 10 Lakh 4G phones per month from its Noida facility. The company has also reportedly spent a whopping 100 crores on advertisements in last three months. Oppo has built its India infrastructure from ground up by betting big on offline market (which is still significantly bigger than the online market). For the same reasons, the pricing has never been lucrative, but the company is gradually covering solid ground in India.
