Oppo is soon going to level up the game with the launch of its first clamshell smartphone with a foldable screen. High chances are that the device, possibly named Oppo Find N Flip, will be launched in the Chinese market. In a recent development, the popular tipster Digital Chat station revealed that the smartphone would work on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. Contradictorily, new leaks regarding the upcoming smartphone have a different story to tell.
The news leaks suggest that the Oppo Find N Flip will ship with a high-end MediaTek processor. Furthermore, there has been no official statement regarding the launch of the smartphone in December. However, speculations are that the smartphone will hit the market by mid-December. The device is going to be the second foldable smartphone from Oppo, and it will surely give tough competition to foldables from Samsung.
Oppo Find N Flip expected specifications
The Oppo Find N Flip may feature a 6.8-inch foldable E6 AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, the device will most probably get a 3.26-inch cover OLED display. The smartphone could get powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. In terms of optics, we can get to see a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle shooter. On the front, the smartphone may flaunt a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter.
The smartphone will operate on the ColorOS 13 based on the Android 13 operating system. For security purposes, the handset will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device will draw power from a 4300mAh battery that will come with 44W fast charging support. Speculations are that it will be shipped in three different colour options – White, Black, and Purple.
