Oppo F3 Plus With Dual Selfie Cameras Launched in India

Taking its selfie game to the next level, Oppo has launched its new selfie-centric phones F3 Plus that comes with dual selfie cameras. To propel these phones, Oppo has also roped in Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone as its new brand ambassador.

Oppo F3 plus is not really the first smartphone to feature dual selfie camera, the title for that actually goes to Lenovo Vibe S1 (launched back in 2015) that was later followed by Vivo V5 Plus (review) in January this year. However, Oppo’s dual Selfie camera’s comes with a twist. Unlike Lenovo and Vivo which mains to create a bokeh effect in selfies, Oppo takes a wide angle route to accommodate more people for group selfies.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo F3 Plus comes with 6-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It boasts an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro aka Snapdragon 653 SoC, which we recently reviewed in Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with support of MicroSD card up to 256GB. Oppo continues to persist with its Color OS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow.

In optics, the Oppo F3 Plus rear camera setup is more or less similar to the R9s at least in hardware terms. It features a 16-megapixel rear camera with a 1/2.8” Sony IMX398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, Dual Pixel autofocus and dual tone LED flash. On the front, there is a dual camera setup of 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors to take regular and group selfies.

The 40000mAh battrry within supports VOOC fast charging. The phone brandishes a fast fingerprint scanner on the front, and is alo water resistant.

Oppo F3 Plus will be available in Gold and Black color option for Rs. 30,990. Oppo will be excepting preorders between March 23 and 31. F3 Plus will be available on retail shelves in May.
