Oppo Ace 2 with 40W AirVOOC & Snapdragon 865 goes official

Oppo Ace 2 is the successor to the Reno Ace without the Ace prefix. It is a flagship-y phone running on Snapdragon 865, 5G and other juicy stuff in the mix. Speaking of juice, the phone will be one of the fastest charging phones out there. It is backed by 65W SuperVooc (wired) and 40W AirVooc (wireless) charging.

Oppo Ace 2 specs and features

The face has a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner. It opts a hole-punch design on the front which houses a 16MP selfie snapper.

By the back, we have a 48MP primary shooter accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro unit and 2MP depth sensor. Inside, a Snapdragon 865 processor does the heavy-lifting, bolstered by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB flash memory.

Moving on, we have the aforementioned charging support. To reiterate, Ace 2 comes with a 40W wireless and 65W wired charging mechanism. These along with a 4000mAh battery should deliver a satisfying mileage.

Among other things, you also get Android 10 based ColorOS 7, USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.0, etc.

Oppo Ace 2 will hit the stores in China on April 20th starting at 3,999 yuan (~Rs. 43,239.29) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Then, there is the 8GB+256GB variant at 4,399 yuan (~Rs. 47,564.30) for and 12GB+256GB edition at 4,599 yuan (~Rs. 49,726.80). Indian availability details aren’t revealed yet.
