OnePlus, a prominent player in the technology sector, is generating excitement for its upcoming flagship series. However, prior to this launch, the company is focusing on enhancing its tablet offerings with a new variant of the OnePlus Pad Pro, featuring a larger 13-inch display. This new model aims to provide an improved experience for entertainment, gaming, and productivity. Insights from Chinese tipster WHYLAB reveal additional information regarding this expanded version.

OnePlus Pad Pro: Details
The specifics surrounding the OnePlus Pad Pro remain somewhat scarce, but it is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring rapid performance and efficient multitasking capabilities. A significant enhancement will be the larger display, rumored to boast a resolution of 3800×2400 pixels for improved visual clarity. However, the peak brightness may be reduced to 600 nits, compared to the 900 nits available on the existing 12-inch model. Additionally, the new Pad Pro is expected to retain a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In July, a report indicated that Oppo is developing a new tablet, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Pro. This larger device may be introduced as the Oppo Pad 3 and is anticipated to be available in Gold and Blue color options, featuring RAM configurations of 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, along with 512GB of storage.

The larger screen variant appears to be a distinct tablet within the OnePlus Pad series. If the other specifications are consistent, it will include a quad-speaker arrangement, a 13MP rear camera equipped with LED flash, an 8MP front camera, and additional features. The device will be powered by a 9510mAh battery and will support 67W wired charging.
OnePlus has recently introduced the OnePlus 13 smartphone in its home market of China, with an international launch anticipated shortly. The Chinese version is available in two storage configurations: 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, offered in the colors Arctic Dawn and Midnight Ocean. While OnePlus has yet to confirm the global launch date for the OnePlus 13, it is projected to arrive in India either in late December or within the first two weeks of January 2025.
