Every Apple Product that the Company Might Launch in 2025

The Cupertino-based technology leader, Apple, has completed its product launches for 2024. Last month, the company introduced M4-based Macs, a shift from its previous practice of launching in December. According to reports, Apple does not intend to update any of its current products in the remaining 1.5 months of 2024. However, 2025 is anticipated to be an exciting year for Apple, with a diverse lineup that includes IoT home devices, iPads, and more. In this article, we aim to explore all the devices Apple is expected to unveil in 2025.

First Half of 2025

1. Apple iPhone SE 4

Apple is preparing to refresh its SE series in the first half of 2025. The iPhone SE4 is anticipated to debut with a design reminiscent of the iPhone 14, incorporating advanced Apple Intelligence features. It will be equipped with the A18 chipset and will upgrade the main camera to 48MP, replacing the previous 12MP sensor. Additionally, it may include a larger battery, enhanced charging capabilities, and a variety of new features. The launch is expected in March 2025, positioning it as the most affordable model to offer Apple AI functionalities. There is also speculation about the inclusion of a Dynamic Island, with a projected price of approximately Rs. 47,600 in India.

2. Apple Air Tag 2

Years have passed since the introduction of AirTag, and Apple is set to enhance this item tracker in 2025. The anticipated AirTag 2 is expected to feature improvements such as enhanced speakers, an upgraded chipset, and additional functionalities. Although there were earlier speculations regarding the simultaneous launch of AirTag 2 with the iPhone series, that did not materialize. The new version is likely to offer more precise location tracking and will incorporate Apple Vision Pro integration. It will maintain an IP67 rating, and the battery will continue to be replaceable.

Mark Gurman claims that Apple AirTag 2 has been codenamed B589 and is in progressive manufacturing tests. It would have a similar design as the current model but offer a better range and upgraded onboard wireless chip. It is expected to come with a U2 chip with improved connectivity. Some privacy improvements are also expected for AirTag 2, which will include making it more difficult for someone to remove the speaker from the tracker. The first generation of AirTag was priced at Rs. 3190 for one and Rs. 10,999 for four.

3. Apple iPad 11

Apple is anticipated to refresh its iPad lineup in conjunction with the launch of the iPhone SE 4. The entry-level iPad is set to receive several enhancements, including an upgrade to 8GB of RAM and the introduction of Apple Intelligence Support. Earlier this year, the price of the Apple iPad 11 was reduced from $449 to $349, although there were no updates to its chipset or other specifications. A new version of this base-model iPad is expected to debut in 2025, featuring Apple Intelligence. It is likely to be powered by the A18 chipset and will offer improved connectivity options such as WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Additionally, it will support the Apple Pencil Pro and a newly designed traditional keyboard that is currently in development.

4. New Magic Keyboard for iPad

Mark Gurman reports that Apple is developing a new budget-friendly Magic Keyboard designed for the base models of the iPad and iPad Air. This economical version will forgo the premium aluminum top case in favor of the silicone material utilized in previous keyboards. Anticipated features include a new function row, with a launch expected to coincide with the release of the iPad 11 in 2025.

5. Smart Home Wall Tablet

Apple is set to introduce a wall-mounted display in March 2025, designed to manage applications, facilitate video conferencing, and utilize artificial intelligence for autonomous task completion. This device will feature a touchscreen interface serving as a command center for smart home integration and will also support Apple Intelligence. It will sport a 6-inch screen with a design reminiscent of a square iPad. A camera will be positioned above the display, which will include a rechargeable battery and built-in speakers. Upon its release, the device will be available in black and silver.

6. Apple’s Home Robot

The company has been developing its tabletop robotic project for some time, and it appears to be nearing completion. According to Mark Gurman, Apple’s Home Robot is expected to feature a sizable screen similar to that of an iPad, which will be attached to a slender robotic arm capable of tilting and rotating 360 degrees, functioning as a smart home command center. It will integrate Apple Intelligence and Siri, with a potential launch anticipated by the end of 2025.

7. Apple’s Smart Home Cameras

Apple is said to be expanding its range of home accessories by developing products such as Smart Home Cameras to enhance the integrated Smart Home experience. This command center is designed to function as a central hub for various devices, serving multiple purposes, including acting as both a baby monitor and a security camera.

8. Apple MacBook Air

Apple has introduced the M3 versions of the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air, and the company is set to unveil the M4-powered MacBook Air in the spring of 2025. The upcoming 13-inch and 15-inch models are anticipated to be among the top offerings in the lineup, featuring the largest battery to date. Additional specifications will include a 12MP Center Stage camera and a Thunderbolt 4 port, which will be integrated into the MacBook Air 2025.

9. Mac Studio

Apple is preparing to unveil the Mac Studio configurations featuring the M4 Max and M4 Ultra chipsets at the WWDC 2025 keynote. The upcoming generation of the Apple Mac Studio is anticipated to include Thunderbolt 5 ports, which will provide enhanced transfer speeds. Additionally, it may introduce WiFi 7 connectivity.

Second Half of 2025

1. New Macs with M5 SoC

The latter part of 2025 is anticipated to mark the introduction of Apple’s Macs featuring the M5 chipset. The MacBook Pro lineup is confirmed to incorporate the M5 chipset in 2025. Apple intends to release MacBook Pro models equipped with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max system-on-chips, with some reports suggesting that the development of these chipsets is nearing completion. While significant design alterations are not expected for the Macs next year, they may include an OLED display and a slimmer profile.

2. iPad Pro with M5

Apple’s M5 chipset is anticipated to launch in 2025, serving as the driving force behind the iPad Pro, much like the M4 did for the current model. The iPad Pro featuring the M5 SoC is projected to be unveiled in October 2025. The M5 is likely to be a 2nm chipset, indicating a more advanced node and an increase in the number of transistors.

3. Apple Vision Pro 2

Apple Vision Pro has emerged as one of the company’s most ambitious initiatives in recent years. Currently, reports indicate that Apple is developing a successor to the Vision Pro Headset. The upcoming Apple Vision Pro 2 is expected to feature the M5 chipset and is anticipated to launch in 2025 or early 2026. While the design may closely resemble the current model, enhancements in specifications are expected. Additionally, Apple is exploring a more affordable version of the Vision Pro headset, although details about this project remain unclear.

4. Apple Watch Series 11

In conjunction with the yearly iPhone release, Apple is set to unveil its next generation of smartwatches. The Apple Watch Series 11 is anticipated to feature a microLED display and incorporate new health monitoring sensors, including a blood pressure monitor. Additionally, blood glucose tracking is likely to be introduced in the Watch Series 11. It remains uncertain whether Apple will release two or three models of the smartwatch.

5. AirPods Pro 3

The company is set to revamp its true wireless stereo (TWS) offerings in the upcoming year. The Apple AirPods Pro 3 is anticipated to debut in 2025, featuring notable enhancements. While significant design alterations are not expected, it could potentially be the first device to incorporate Apple Intelligence support. Additionally, there may be an integrated camera, an H3 chipset, and expanded health-related features.

6. Apple iPhone 17 Series

Apple’s most eagerly awaited event is the release of its annual iPhone series. The iPhone 17 Series is set to debut in 2025, with the company introducing the iPhone 17 Air in place of the iPhone 17 Plus model. The iPhone 17 Air will feature a slimmer profile and a distinct design compared to previous iPhone models. It will be equipped with the A19 chip, a 5G modem, a 6.5-inch display, an aluminum chassis, and additional enhancements.

For the 2025 iPhone Series, Apple is expected to introduce a larger 6.27-inch display for the standard iPhone 17, while the iPhone 17 Plus may also feature an expanded screen size. All models in the iPhone 17 lineup will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 17 Pro variants are anticipated to include a WiFi 7 chip, and the premium Pro Max model is set to offer a 48MP telephoto camera. Reports suggest that all four or five versions of the iPhone 17 will come equipped with a 24MP front-facing camera and will utilize a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective display. Additionally, the Pro and Pro Max models will see an increase in storage capacity, and the dynamic island feature is expected to be smaller on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The devices will be powered by the A19 chipset.
