OnePlus 6 launch date mystery has kept everyone guessing and amidst all that a new release date has popped up out of nowhere. While the company is revealing its cards in a strategic manner, a new report surfaced online suggesting a May 21 is the date when OnePlus will take the wraps off its next flagship killer. If that turns out to be true, this will be earliest OnePlus flagship launch ever. Over the years, OnePlus usually announces it new flagship around the month of June or July.
The new OnePlus 6 news is based on a mail a sent to one of the selected participants of new OnePlus Lab programme that it announced last week. As per GSMAarena report, OnepPlus sent out emails to selected testers which includes all terms and conditions along with launch date.

The OnePlus 6 Lab programme is new innitavie by the company where it allows invited fans to use the OnePlus 6 before the official launch and write detailed community reviews of the upcoming device. Those who are yet to submit their application can still apply as the submissions are open till 10pm EDT (7am IST) on May 2. OnePlus will release the list of all those selected to review the OnePlus 6 before its launch by 10pm EDT (7am IST) on May 12.
OnePlus 6 Features (Expected)
Thanks to various leaks and teasers, most of the OnePlus 6 specs and features are already known to us. The OnePlus 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB inbuilt storage. OnePlus has already asked its fans to “learn to love the notch” confirming the presence of notch display. Yesterday, the company on its forum also confirmed that glass back design.
If OnePlus 6 rumors are anything to go by, the phone is expected to come with wireless charging. the OnePlus 6 likely to come with a 6.28-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
