To commemorate the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, OnePlus, the Chinese Smartphone maker has announced its flagship OnePlus 5T smartphone in Star Wars theme right in time for its India anniversary. The limited edition phone was showcased at the Comic-Con event in Bangaluru, which is exclusively targeted for the die-hard star wars fans.

“Star Wars has enthralled generations with their masterful storytelling from a galaxy far, far away, with the best in technology and strong engagement with their fan community. Similarly, OnePlus too has a dedicated community that is deeply passionate about the best in technology, design, and attention to detail,” said OnePlus in its official statement.
OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition Availability
The special edition of OnePlus 5T will be launched in India on December 14 at an event in Mumbai, and according to reports, there will only be 15,000 units up for grabs. The phone will be available for purchase starting December 15 onwards.
At the pricing front, the phone will be a tad expensive than the simple OnePlus 5, which retails in India at a starting price of Rs 32,999, but the final price hasn’t been disclosed yet.
OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition Features
The special edition of OnePlus 5T comes with only cosmetic changes. The new star wars theme phone has a white rear along with the Star Wars logo close to the bottom and the OnePlus branding beneath the fingerprint scanner. The black fascia of the phone has the same trendy 18:9 display (6-inch FHD+), although the slider button adds a red accent.
Other hardware remains same. The OP 5T star wars edition is powered by Snapdragon 835, runs Android Nougat based Oxygen OS out of the box, and has a 3300mAh battery.
