OnePlus 13: Camera details tipped

Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared a post via his X account in which he claims that OnePlus is reportedly going for an all-Sony Lytia sensor lineup for the OnePlus 13. This means all three sensors at the back will belong to the Sony Lytia lineup. These three sensors might be a Sony Lytia 808 primary camera and two Sony Lytia 600 sensors. The tipster feels it would be a good upgrade if this happens as it would allow the company to maintain uniformity and the setup will be more able than ever before.

Earlier reports claimed that not only the sensor, but the camera housing might also receive tweaks. Some leaks claim that OnePlus might shift to a rectangular design positioned in the middle or on the left side of the back for the camera module.

OnePlus 13: Release Timeline

OnePlus 13 is expected to follow a similar release timeline as its predecessor. OnePlus 12 launched in China in December 2023 followed by India launch in January 2024. Following the same pattern, the OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in China in December this year, followed by India as well as a Global launch in January end or beginning of February 2025. Some leaks also claim an early October 2024 launch for the device. A report by Android Police claims that due to the rising cost of components, the OnePlus 13 might cost more than the OnePlus 12 (Rs. 75,000).
