After making its debut in China, the HMD Global which markets Nokia brand, made its official global debut today at the MWC 2017. At the event, HMD Global showcased as many as 4 new Nokia smartphones including the Nokia 6, which is already available in China.

Interestingly, new Nokia phones will come with the unadulterated version of Google’s Android Nougat OS. That’s only wise because it wouldn’t make sense to goad an immature custom UI at this stage where custom ROMs of other software giants are highly evolved. This also means that Nokia phones will be first in the line to receive monthly security updates.

The former iconic brand aims to cash in on its design prowess, optimized hardware, and Pure Android to re-attain its past glory.
