Xiaomi Mi 6 appears to have cemented its place as one of the favorites amongst the gossipmongers. Already a subject of one too many speculations, the phone has again found itself in another such predicament and has Chinese microblogging site Weibo to thank this time round.

After eons of contemplation, this leak might just drive home the fact that the phone will be out sporting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset and will be the first one in China to do so.
The source of this news was a post about the Snapdragon 835 SoC on the chipset maker’s official account on the site, which Xiaomi shared a while later along with the words, ‘I come, I see, I conquer’.
In a similar, related news, a tentative list of the prices that the Mi 6 as well as its bigger sibling, the Mi 6 Plus, have been outed.

According to the said list, the three variants of the Mi 6 would demand a price of approx. Rs. 19, 350 (4GB RAM + 32GB ROM), Rs. 22,225 (4GB RAM + 64GB ROM), Rs. 26,100 (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM), respectively.
For the Mi 6 Plus, the tentative price tags have fixed at approx. Rs. 25,160 (4GB RAM + 64GB ROM), Rs. 29,035 (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM), Rs. 33,875 (8GB RAM + 256GB ROM) respectively.

Then again, these are mere rumors, so we suggest you take them with a pinch of salt. For a final verdict here, we would have to wait for Xiaomi’s April 11 event, wherein both the phones are expected to be unveiled.
