Motorola Edge+ Flagship To Launch On April 22

It’s been a while since Motorola launched a conventional flagship smartphone, but the American brand is all set to be back in action. Taking to Twitter, the company has now confirmed its next flagship mobile launch on April 22 (via online event).

The upcoming phone is most probably Motorola Edge which has been long overdue. And as we earlier reported, Motorola Edge is likely to be accompanied by an elder sibling, Edge+.

Lenovo-owned Motorola teased the upcoming phone with a short video in a Twitter post. The video only flaunts a curved display with small bezels resembling previously leaked images of Motorola Edge circulating on the internet. There are no further specs details divulged in the post. It is expected that Motorola will come up with attractive high-end features and the phone might hold a place in the 2020’s top-list.

The leaks we have covered yet state that the phone will exhibit a punch-hole display. The rear camera might get a mighty 108MP shutter with wide-angle and telephoto sensors. The phone could launch with a 6.7-inch display possessing up to 90Hz refresh switching, exceeding battery capacity to 5000mAh, and more.


To make the right noise, Motorola is expected to bring in Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM. While the lower end variant may house Snapdragon 765 SoC with 6GB RAM.
