For some of us, it might be like a nostalgic revisit as Motorola has finally released the Razr in India. The phone which had its debut back in November 2019, is hankered for its vertical folding format. This will be the third folding phone to hit the Indian stores.

Due to Coronapocalypse, Moto stuck to soft launch and here are the features, specs, availability and Indian pricing details.

Motorola Moto Razr Features

As aforementioned, Moto adopts a vertical fold, which mimics the clamshell flip design of the original. The inner landscape is 6.2-inches diagonally with 876×2142 pixels resolution. Once its folded, there is a 2.7-inch display on the surface that covers 600×800 resolution.

The throwback element extends to the thick chin at the bottom, which is a fingerprint sensor.

That round hump houses a 16-megapixel sensor that duplexes as rear shooter whilst the phone is unfolded and selfie snapper otherwise. You get Night-mode and AI enhancements in the features front. Unfold it and again you have a 5-megapixel shooter inside.

The phone ain’t razor-edge power-wise. It is engined by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. On top of this, you get Android 9 Pie. For what it’s worth, the software is slightly tweaked to complement the novelties of hardware design. You also get the traditional Moto gestures and smooth transition effect. Razr has a 2510mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Then there is USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, GPS, eSIM, et al.
