The Moto G45 5G ships with a punch-hole screen on the front and symmetrical bezels on three sides, except for a thicker chin at the bottom. It measures 162.7 x 74.64 x 8.03 mm and weighs 183 grams. Interestingly, all three finishes of the phone feature a vegan leather back. These include Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green, and Viva Magenta. The phone has launched in the same colors as we leaked earlier.

The right frame of the phone houses two volume rockers and a power button (that doubles as a fingerprint scanner), while the left frame houses the SIM tray. On the bottom, users get a headphone jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and the primary speaker.

Out of the box, the G45 5G ships with a 6.5-inch LPS LCD HD+ screen (Gorilla Glass 3) with a pixel density of 269 ppi and a refresh rate of 120Hz. To complement the screen, the phone ships with stereo speakers (with support for Dolby Atmos), two microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, the phone runs on Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 (6nm), which is an octa-core processor with a 2.3GHz prime core and Adreno 619 GPU. The chipset is combined with 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone runs on My UX, which is based on Android 14. Further, the phone will receive a guaranteed Android 15 update and three years of security updates. Given the price of the phone, one can’t really blame the company for promising only one software update. Given that Google is working on finalizing Android 15, the phone should get the software update anytime soon.
