Motorola has expanded its G Series lineup in India. The brand has launched the Moto G42 which falls in the affordable mid-range category of smartphones in the market. The smartphone made its global debut a few weeks ago alongside the Moto G62 and now the mid-ranger is all set to take on the Indian market.

Moto G42: Price & Availability

The Moto G42 will come in a single storage model-

  • 4GB RAM+64GB storage-Rs. 13,999

The device will retail via Flipkart from July 6th at 12PM IST and will come in 2 attractive colorways- Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose.

The smartphone will be available with a discount of Rs. 1000 for SBI card holders. There will be Jio Benefits worth Rs. 2549 (applicable on Rs. 419 plan) as well. Check out Flipkart and retail stores for these offers.

Moto G42: Specs & Features

The Moto G42 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is not a 5G phone and will run Android 13 with near-stock UI. The smartphone will sport a 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 700 nits brightness.

In terms of optics, it will have a triple camera setup at the back with a 50MP main, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. There will be a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The Motorola G42 packs a 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, and an IP52 rating for water resistance as well.
