Micromax Yu Yuphoria Launched In India For INR 6,999

Micromax and Yu have tohether been stealing the show since the launch of Yu Yureka which was available exclusively online. After Yureka’s riveting success, the Micromax Yu televenture had recently disclosed the name of their next product as Yu Yuphoria. Micromax Yu had started an open campaign called #YuNameIt on Facebook to get the nomenclature of their upcoming product. From over 100,000 suggestions received via campaign, the one calling the product as Yu Yuphoria was chosen.

Micromax Yu Yuphoria features a quad core 64 bit Qualomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with intelligent power consumption technology, paired up with 2 GB RAM and LTE support. An in built storage of 16 GB provides handy amount memory to store multimedia files and other resourceful data. Yuphoria enables memory expansion up to 32 GB by a microSD card. It comes with very slim dimensions of 8.2 mm thickness and metallic finish. A 2230 mAh battery with Quick Charge technology provides the current to the smartphone.

Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD IPS display that reflects a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The display is crisp with a clear visibility in daylight too.  For added protection, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone boasts an 8 MP auto focus rear facing primary lens with awesome imaging abilities and 1080p HD video capture. The primary camera is assisted by a LED flash for crisp and clear low light images. The front facing camera onboard is a fixed focus 5 MP lens.

Yu Yuphoria runs Cyanogen’s recent most operating system platform, Cyanogen OS 12 which is based upon Android Lollipop 5.0.2. Cyanogen OS 12 upgrade had recently been rolled out and it appears to be an interactive and fluent DNA for a smartphone to run on. The phone provides features like Bluetooth, 4G LTE connectivity, GPS and Wi-Fi. Speaking of the sensors, e-compass, gyroscope and proximity sensors can be found aboard for an advanced experience.

You can buy Yu Yuphoria online by registering for the same on the e-commerce portal Amazon. The smartphone will exclusively be available online on Amazon. It comes in rugged steel and champagne gold color options. Micromax Yu Yuphoria price in India is INR 6,999 and the registrations have already begun starting from yesterday.
