Micromax is all set to launch its next smartphone Micromax IN Note 2 in India on January 25. The domestic brand has released a teaser poster to make the announcement while revealing a few specs. Micromax has made a comeback last year in November with the launch of Micromax IN Note 1 and Micromax IN 1b (review). Now, the company is gearing up for the successor of IN Note 1 in the country. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming Micromax IN Note 2.
Micromax IN Note 2 Specs (Confirmed & Expected)
Micromax IN Note 2 will arrive with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display and a centred punch-hole panel with thin bezels on three sides and a thick chin. The back panel of the device will sport a glass finish to offer a mirror-like shining.
For photography, Micromax IN Note 2 can be seen with a quad rear camera array with a setup design somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy S21 series (F21 FE review). However, the company has not revealed sensor capabilities for both front and rear cameras. Though it is expected to bear 48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP setup with a 16MP selfie shooter.

The IN Note 2 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which comes integrated with Mali G76 GPU. The phone could include up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB memory configurations. It may run Android 11 software. The phone is confirmed to support 30W fast charging.

Micromax has installed a side-mounted fingerprint scanner to unlock the IN Note 2 device. It will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grille on the bottom side.
Micromax IN Note 2 Expected Price
Micromax has not dropped any hint regarding the price of the upcoming IN Note 2 smartphone but we expect it to fall around Rs 15,000 in India. The phone will compete against the likes including Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, Realme 8 (review), Realme Narzo 30 Pro (review), Vivo Y73, and Infinix Note 10 Pro, all of which sport the same Helio G95 processor.
