Micromax Canvas Unite 2 To Get Lollipop On April 7

Micromax has been a really tough competitor in the smartphone market in India. It has been regularly challenging world’s recently greatest brands like Samsung. Micromax has started rolling out Android Lollipop for its smartphones, and now it has added Canvas Unite 2 A106 to that list. As per the reports, Micromax will officially release the update for Canvas Unite 2 on April 7. The smartphone has been a real success for Micromax and was launched with a unique feature of supporting as many Indian regional languages as possible.

Micromax Canvas Unite 2 review

Micromax Canvas Unite 2 features a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone includes 4.7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The device comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable 32 GB via microSD card. Unite 2 runs on Android Kitkat v4.4.2 which is upgradable to Android Lollipop.

The Lollipop update for Micromax Canvas Unite 2 will be launched on April 7 and will be available on the air (OTA) from the same day. The update can be downloaded from the Software Update option under the Settings menu.
