After testing waters in China, Meizu will soon launch its flagship dual-display smartphone Meizu Pro 7 in India. The news was confirmed by the company’s Twitter handle, where they teased with an effigy of Pro 7 and captioned it, “It’s time for you to become a Pro! Stay Tuned!”

Earlier in July, Meizu globally announced two smartphones, Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu pro 7 plus – both featuring an extra 1.9inch AMOLED display on their back. However, we are pretty sure that it is going to be the Pro 7 phone, but uncertainty looms on whether Meizu will bring one device of Pro series or both.

Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus Specification

The highlight of both Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus is its mirror screen display on the rear panel that can be used as a notification window and for media control. The concept of dual-display isn’t new, but introducing AMOLED display takes the phone to a different competition.

Other commonalities on the smartphones include MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 64/128GB internal storage, Android Nougat with Flyme 6 skin on top, and dual-12MP rear camera and 16 MP selfie shooter. Both the phone houses a 3,500mAh battery with quick charging support.

Areas, where Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus differ from one another, is the screen and memory. The former comes with 5.2-inch QUAD HD display and 3GB RAM while the Pro 7 Plus comes with 5.7-Inch Quad HD display and 6GB RAM.

In China, the lower model, Pro 7 comes in black, gold and red, whereas the slightly upgraded Pro 7 Plus is available in matte black, silver, and gold color options.
