Meizu Pro 6s with sAMOLED 3D Touch Display and Deca-Core Helio X25 SoC Launched

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has finally put all the rumors related to Pro 6s to dust with today’s launch in China. The Meizu Pro 6s is a successor of Meizu Pro 6 which is also evident from the striking resembles in the idesign and build of both handsets.

The Meizu Pro 6s Pro has an all-metal enclosure with antenna bands at the top and bottom. The curved side edges assure handy grip on the phone.

One of the highlights of the phone has been its 5.2-inch full-HD sAMOLED display which supports 3D Touch. It has a Taptic engine onboard which offers vibration feedback when pressured is applied to the display. Under the hood, it is equipped with an Helio X25 deca-core chipset clocked at 2.5GHz and Mali T880 GPU. It also packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

For shutterbugs, the Pro 6s ropes in a 12MP Sony IMX386 CMOS sensor for the rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and 4-axis optical image stabilization. It can be used to record 4K videos on the go. Up front, it bears a 5MP camera for selfies.

Like most Meizu smartphones, the Pro 6s also comes with a fingerprint sensor which also doubles up as the home button, back button as well as power key at times. The Meizu PRO 6s houses the Cirrus Logix CS43L36 chip for to lure audiophiles. The phone comes with the Type-C USB port with 4G LTE connectivity option.

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Flyme OS and packs a 3,060mAh non-removable battery which can be charged with bundled 24W fast charger. The smartphone will be available in Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold, Black Star and Champagne Gold color variants.  It has been priced at 2,699 Yuan in China which roughly translate to Rs. 26,700.
