LG first unveiled the Wings phone globally last month as a part of its Explorer Project. Alongside the Wing 5G, LG also announced LG Velvet Dual screen in the country.

LG Wing price in India is set at Rs 69,990 for the standard 128GB storage option. The dual-screen phone will retail in Aurora Gray and Illusion Sky colour options. It will become available from November 9 onwards.

LG Wing Features, highlights

LG Wing flaunts a swiveling 6.8-inch P-OLED primary display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. There’s a 3.9-inch FHD+ hidden secondary screen that can be accessed when user swivels the primary screen. It is also P-OLED panel with 1.15:1 aspect ratio and 419ppi pixel density.

In Swivel mode, users can interact with the Second Screen while content plays uninterrupted on the Main Screen. LG has partnered with video content platforms such as Youtube, Tubi, Rave, Ficto, etc to optimize their app for the new form factor.

LG has created a Multi App feature that lets you create shortcuts of app pairs, that you’d like to open simultaneously on two screens.

Optics wise, the LG Wing features a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/1.9 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens.

The rear camera has a hexa-motion stabilizer that adds gimbal-like camera control that lets you tackle dual ultra-wide-angle lenses using a virtual joystick available on the secondary screen. It also includes a 32-megapixel camera sensor on a pop-up module along with an f/1.9 lens for selfies and video chats.

The LG WING is powered by Snapdragon 765G (w/ 5G) which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128 storage. It runs on Android 10 and draws juice from a 4000mAh battery.
