Lenovo Zuk Edge Powered By Snapdragon 821 Launched: Specs, Price And More

As expected, Lenovo has formally unveiled its third Zuk smartphone – the Zuk Edge back in China.  The phone packs top of the line specifications, slim bezel design, and interesting U-Touch home button.

The Lenovo Zuk Edge comes with a 5.5-inch display 1080P display, has an astonishing 86.4 percent screen to body ratio and the bezel next to the display is just 1.63mm thick. The display has a 401ppi pixel density and it is layered with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.35 GHz accompanied by 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is also a trimmed down version that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The other highlights of this phone are USB Type-C (v3.1) port, U Touch fingerprint sensor, built-in blood oxygen heart rate sensor, pneumatic altimeter and a UV light sensor. Apart from this, it is fuelled by a 3,100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. On Software front, It boots Android 7.0 Nougat based ZUI 2.5.

The ZUK Edge sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with Samsung ISOCELL sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus, and a LED flash. Up front, it boasts an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with large 1.12-micron pixel size and a wide-angle lens. It supports dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C port, and A-GPS as connectivity options.

The phones come in Ceramic White and Titanium Crystal Black hue and will be made available in January 2017. The ZUK 4GB / 64GB variant has been priced at RMB 2,299 (approx. Rs 22,450) while the 6GB / 64GB model to retail at RMB 2,499 ( approx. Rs 24,400).
