Lenovo ZUK Edge To Debut Next Week, Says ZUK CEO

Lenovo Zuk Edge has been popping up in various leaks and rumors and finally Lenovo’s VP and Zuk CEO Chang Cheng has himself confirmed that the phone will launch next week. However, he didn’t mention exact launch date in his post on Chinese social networking site Weibo.  Cheng also posted render images of both front and back of the device along with its packaging.Zuk Edge

As per various leaks, the Zuk Edge will feature a 5.5-inch LCD display with ultra thin upper bezels. The Zuk edge is claimed to be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor  clocked at 2.35 GHz with 4GB RAM and 32/64GB of storage.

Lenovo Zuk Edge likely to come out of the box running on Android Marshmallow based ZUI 2.0 skin. It is said to feature a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. It is aided by a 3,000 mAh battery and weighs 160 grams. It is likely to hit online stores in Black and White color variants. The phone is tipped to support 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS and fingerprint sensor.

In India, the Zuk sub-brand made its entry with Zuk Z1 followed by Z2 Plus which was priced at Rs 17,999 for the 32GB storage version and Rs 19,999 for the 64GB version of the phone. The Z2 Plus continues to be one of the cheapest phones in the market right now running on the Snapdragon 820 chipset.
