The Indian smartphone brand Lava International has launched a new smartphone: the Blaze Duo 5G. While the phone offers enough features to justify its price, like a curved AMOLED screen on the front, a capable processor, and a massive battery, there’s something more to the smartphone than that.
To differentiate itself from the competition, the Lava Blaze Duo 5G features a secondary AMOLED screen at the back. Here’s everything you need to know about the smartphone, including its display, processor, cameras, battery, software support, and price.

Lava Blaze Duo 5G Design

The Lava Blaze Duo 5G stands out in terms of looks, primarily due to its minimal design. On the front, users get a curved screen with a punch-hole screen at the top, albiet with a thicker bottom chin. On the rear, there’s a massive rectangular camera cutout, which also houses the secondary 1.58-inch AMOLED screen. The phone is available in two colors: Celestial Blue and Arctic White.
Lava says that the secondary screen could be useful for viewing notifications, receiving calls without picking up the phone, controlling music playback, and other staple tasks. In theory, users should also be able to take selfies from the rear camera while using the screen as a viewfinder. Further, users should also be able to use other apps on the screen.
