Carl Pei’s Nothing is gearing up for 2025 with not one or two but three major smartphone launches. A few days ago, we shared about Nothing planning three devices- Nothing Phone 3, Nothing Phone 3a, and Nothing Phone 3a Plus for 2025. However, one might wonder in today’s day and age when every other smartphone maker is manufacturing foldables, what if Nothing also does something similar? Although Carl Pei’s doesn’t look too keen on a foldable, some fresh new concept renders have offered a sneak peek into how Nothing Fold (1) might look like.

Nothing Fold (1): Design Renders

Designer Sarang Sheth via Yanko Designs has created some concept renders for Nothing’s first-ever foldable with a unique twist to its design. One of the renders shows Nothing’s foldable having the same glyph LED lighting design on the back, but now this has extended to the hinge too.

Almost all companies try to make their hinge neater and more durable, but it doesn’t get any design elements. Nothing Fold (1) features a Glyph Light bar and in one another renders even showcases a slim display added to this hinge. The first one seems more realistic and practical, while the second one is similar to the edge display from old Samsung devices.

The foldable has a metal outer structure with a glass front and buttons are placed strategically for user’s comfort and ease of use. Click here for renders.

The designer certainly took a lot of creative liberty as he took things a step further by speculating on the features of Nothing’s Foldable. Delve into the next section for features.

Nothing Fold (1): Speculated Features

According to Sarang, Nothing Fold (1) will feature cutting-edge specs. He claims that the foldable might be powered by Dimensity 9400 chipset and paired with 16GB RAM. At the front will be a 32MP selfie sensor while there might be a dual lens setup at the back.

The Nothing Fold (1) might pack a 5500mAh battery with conceptualized 15W Qi2 wireless charging. It will definitely run Nothing OS 3 and might have a 6.5-inch outer and 8.37-inch inner display with high resolution.

The designer has created the foldable with a price tag of 1014 USD, so according to him it will be more affordable than other foldables. To read more about the concept and features, click here.

PS- The design and features are purely speculations by the designer as Nothing hasn’t hinted about any foldable in the foreseeable future.
