Kia Syros And Carens Clavis ICE Get New EX Trims With Additional Features: Details Inside

Kia India has released two new variants of the Syros and the Carens Clavis ICE. The compact SUV and full-sized MPV receive new EX trims that offer additional features compared to the variants immediately below (paired only with a manual transmission). This is not the first time that Kia (or Hyundai, for that matter) has launched a variant after the launch of a vehicle.

New Syros HTK (EX) Variant: Price And Features

  • Syros HTK (EX) Turbo Petrol: Rs. 9.89 lakhs (ex-showroom)
  • Syros HTK (EX) Turbo Diesel: Rs. 10.64 lakhs (ex-showroom)

The new EX model for the Syros is based on the HTK trim and costs Rs. 50,000 more. With the Syros HTK (EX), you get features like LED DRLs, LED headlamps, LED taillamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Besides, the variant also borrows the available features from the HTK (O) trim, including, but not limited to, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a rear parking camera, a single-pane sunroof, and six airbags.

New Carens Clavis HTE (EX) Variant: Price And Features

For the Carens Clavis ICE, the EX trim is based on the HTE (O) and commands a premium of Rs. 51,000. The HTE (EX) variant offers features such as LED DRLs, automatic climate control, one-touch up/down for the driver’s window, and a single-pane sunroof (a highly sought-after feature among Indian buyers).

The EX trim looks more appealing on the Carens Clavis ICE than the Syros, primarily because it offers the single-pane sunroof with the NA petrol engine. Buyers had to upgrade the engine option to get the feature.
