iQOO Z7x, Z7 Launched with Snapdragon 782 SoC, 120Hz Displays and Android 13 OS

Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO has launched its latest models, the iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x, in China. These smartphones are the newest additions to the iQOO Z-series and replace last year’s iQOO Z6. The iQOO Z7 features a 120W fast-charging support, making it a standout device, unlike the Indian variant. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782 SoC and has a 3K large-area vapor chamber, which is double the previous generation. Meanwhile, the iQOO Z7x has an 80W charging support and a large 6,000mAh battery.

The iQOO Z7 is available in Space Black, Atomic Blue, and Infinite Orange colors, with prices starting from RMB 1599 (around Rs 19,200) for the 8GB + 128GB model, RMB 1799 (approx Rs 21,600) for the 8GB + 256GB, and RMB 1999 (approx Rs 24,000) for the 12GB + 256GB version. On the other hand, the iQOO Z7x comes in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB variants, with prices starting from RMB 1299 (around Rs 15,600) up to RMB 1499 (around Rs 18,000).

The iQOO Z7 runs on the latest Android 13 OS with OriginOS custom skin out of the box. It features a 5,000mAh battery and dual SIM 5G connectivity, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. Additionally, it has a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 2388×1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, and up to 480 nits peak brightness.

In terms of camera, the iQOO Z7 boasts dual cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary camera aided by OIS and LED flash, and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, the front camera has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats.

On the other hand, the iQOO Z7x is equipped with the same 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 480 nits peak brightness. It runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 custom skin out of the box and is powered by the Snapdragon 695 with Adreno 619L GPU for graphics, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 50MP primary camera with an LED flash and a 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, the device is supported by a large 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The iQOO Z7 India variant will go on sale today after the price reveal earlier. The iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x China variants are now available to order and will be on sale in China starting from March 24th.
