It’s only been a couple of months since the iQOO 12 launched in India but that doesn’t stop leakers from talking about the next iQOO flagship lineup, the iQOO 13 series. Recent leaks from Mobile China and tipster Smart Pikachu reveal some key details of the upcoming iQOO flagship series

The leak suggests that the iQOO 13 series will boast the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip that will be using the new Oryon CPU and a new NPU architecture that will enable better on-device AI capabilities. Some leaks suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 might require larger battery phones due to the high power consumption.

This coincides with the iQOO 13 leaks, suggesting that the phones will feature a larger battery. The battery size, however, remains unknown. To juice up this large battery, the iQOO 13 will support faster wired charging although the exact numbers are still a mystery.

Moreover, the iQOO 13 will be using displays from Samsung and a Chinese manufacturer (likely BOE), meaning you can expect the most top-of-the-line display on the market. We have some details about the iQOO 13’s display resolution; the vanilla iQOO 13 will sport a 1.5K OLED while the 13 Pro will sport a 2K OLED.

The rest of the phone remains a mystery. As for the release date, the iQOO 13 is still months away from its launch. Since the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 won’t be released until October 2024, we can expect the iQOO 13 to debut in November 2024.
