At the onset of next year, we are expecting a bunch of new phones. This includes the iQOO 9 series too, which is likely to debut on January 05, 2022. A few alleged posters of the same have appeared on Weibo. Besides, the launch date, we also learn a few tidbits about the device such as its use of Samsung 2K E5 LTPO 2.0 panel and Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary camera.

Other than those two specs, here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming iQOO handsets:

iQOO 9 series

iQOO has already announced it would be releasing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 smartphone and we suspect this to be either iQOO 9 or iQOO 9 Pro, or perhaps both. Although the naming scheme isn’t clear at the moment. Nomenclature aside, this device(s) would be of flagship grade.

The recently surfaced posters suggest specs of this caliber too. If these are to be believed, the forthcoming iQOO phone will sport a 2K E5 LTPO 2.0 display which means adaptive high refresh rate support. This is said to be a 6.78-inch 120Hz OLED panel.

Not only that, another leaked image reveals the use of Samsung’s 50MP ISOCELL GN5 sensor with 1/1.57-inch size and 1.0μm pixels. The main camera is also expected to offer all-direction autofocus and gimbal stabilization.

Other expected features in the mix are 120W fast charging support, a 4,650 mAh battery, a dual X-axis linear vibration motor, and two haptic shoulder buttons.
