In the world of leaks, wild shots and spy shots at subways have always been instrumental in raising curiosity among smartphone enthusiasts. Luckily, we just got our hands on one such subway sighting. Dubbed the upcoming iQOO 12, the phone appeared in this real-life shot with a giant squaricle camera bump at the back with a distinct metal texture on the frame.
Hands-on iQOO 12 spotted at a subway
iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be unveiled to the Chinese market on November 7 and yet, they have been spotted in the wild. The phone does look amazing with its giant squaricle camera bump which is aptly sized, not too much as the OnePlus Open or Oppo Find N3 but not too small as well.
A frame with metal texture makes iOQO 12 look distinct paired with glass back and that’s pretty much what we can make out of the photo. There’s a white, black glass, and a red vegan leather option available with the iQOO 12 as per leakster Digital Chat Station.
The camera island that we have talked about above is likely hosting a 50MP primary OmniVision OV50H sensor with OIS; a 64MP telephoto cam with OmniVision OV64B sensor and OIS; and finally, a 50MP ultrawide Samsung JN1 sensor to complete its triple rear camera setup.
The next set of leaks includes a 2K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate alongside a 144Hz refresh rate and a 4,880mAh battery backed with 120W fast charging tech. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is likely to power the device which itself will be launched later next week, in time for iQOO 12’s release scheduled on November 7 in China.
