The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQoo is about to reveal its flagship smartphone soon. It is called iQoo 12 and will arrive in India in December, roughly a month after arriving in China. The phone will offer top-tier performance, a versatile camera system, one of the brightest screens on a smartphone, and fast wired charging. However, ahead of the launch, a tipster has leaked the expected price of the phone.

iQoo 12 Expected Price In India

According to Indian tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQoo 12 could be priced around Rs. 53,000 to Rs. 55,000 in India. The tipster shares an image of the smartphone’s retail box, with the part with printed maximum selling price. Although the MRP is hidden in the picture, he mentions that it could be Rs. 56,999.

The 12/256GB Will Be More Affordable

Since the smartphone is said to come in two storage models, it is likely that the lower variant, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, would cost around Rs. 55,000, whereas the higher variant, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage could cost over Rs. 60,000. It is important to mention that the smartphone starts at RMB 3,999 or about Rs. 46,000 in China.

Customers Should Expect Introductory Offers

One should also expect the company to run several introductory offers, offering the phone at a significantly lower price than the MRP to sell maximum units. For this, the company could tie up with a bank operating in the country to offer somewhere between Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 8,000 off, making the introductory price look even more attractive. The phone is scheduled to launch in India on December 12, 2023.

The Pricing Places The iQoo 12 Right Next To OnePlus 11 And iPhone 14

It is essential to mention that the iQoo 12, with an expected price between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 60,000, directly competes with flagships like the OnePlus 11 and the iPhone 14. While it would ship with a better chipset than the OnePlus 11, competing with the iPhone 14 could be difficult, especially since Apple’s 2022 model offers excellent performance, great camera quality, and a refined iOS experience.
