The countdown for the Indian Premier League 2023 has begun and the league is all set to get bigger and better. The IPL 2023 will be held between March end and May end as the tournament will be hosting a total of 74 action-packed matches. These include 70 league matches and 4 play-offs. It will be happy times as the tournament will finally be played in India after 2 years. Ahead of the tournament, the 10 teams built their squads as the IPL 2023 auctions took place on December 23rd. These mini-auctions laid the core of the teams. The auction gave the teams a chance to fill up the spots that had been vacated after they released some of the players due to various reasons.
The latest update is that IPL 2023 will stream in 4K on Jio Cinema App. The decision has been approved by BCCI and will greatly improve the viewing experience of the viewers. HD Video with a 4K resolution has four times the resolution of a 1080p HD video.
Where to Watch IPL 2023 in India?

Star Sports Network will be broadcasting all the IPL 2023 matches on their TV channels in the country. As for online live streaming, Jio Platforms subsidiary Viacom18 has required digital rights. Jio has announced that it will stream IPL 2023 free on Jio Cinema App. You will not need to subscribe to Voot Select but have a Jio sim to watch the streaming for free on Jio Cinema App. The matches will be streamed in 11 regional languages.
Tata IPL 2023 on Free Dish for the 1st time
Drawing a leaf from Viacom’s initiative to stream IPL 2023 for free on the Jio Cinema App, Star Network has also confirmed that it will telecast some of the big IP2023 matches on its free-to-air channel Star Utsav Movies. It will be the first time ever that IPL Matches will be telecasted on a Free Dish channel. 12 IPL 2023 matches will be shown on Star Utsav Movies. The channel has a reach of over 200 million viewers across India. The FTA channel is available on DD Free Dish channel number 55.
