After announcing Apple Watch 3 series, Apple took the wraps off its iPhone 8 and 8 Plus at the event in new Steve Jobs theatre. These two iPhones are a bit more pocket-friendly and more conventional when you compare them with the Apple’s tenth-anniversary edition, the iPhone X.

Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Features:

The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus successors have gone through few changes. Both phones are now made of premium metal and glass and come with IP68 water and dust resistant certification. Apple’s hasn’t made any changes in screen size as the iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch screen while the iPhone 8 Plus gets to flaunt 5.5-inch display.

Other than HD retina display, both phones rock on Apple’s own designed A11 bionic chipset and GPU system for superior performance. Apple claims it has designed a video encoder for this phone which allows it to record videos at higher frame rates. Both Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p videos at 240fps.

The new iPhones are all over Augmented Reality (AR). They use new gyroscopes, new sensors along with cameras that are calibrated for it.

Both Apple iPhone 8 supports LTE Advanced, BT 5.0. and its glass back ensures it supports wireless charging too. Apple says both phones will offer deeper bass than any other iPhone.

Most notably, they are now capable of wireless charge, which will work with any Qi-capable charging pad. The dual camera system will be present only on the iPhone 8 Plus.
