In the past couple of days, the IFA 2019 stage in Berlin witnessed the debut of several electronic appliances. Huawei also made several announcements including the FreeBuds 3 wireless. It shared the stage alongside the Kirin 990 chipset, Android 10 based EMUI 10 and a refreshed P30 Pro (review) variant at IFA 2019. The Huawei’s Free Buds 3 are being seen as a competitor to Apple’s Airpods 2 and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds.
Huawei FreeBuds 3 highlights
FreeBuds 3 feature truly wireless earbuds based on dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 (Bluetooth Low Energy) connectivity support. Huawei has used the Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology for stable wireless connectivity.
Interestingly, it sports active noise cancellation and is capable of enhancing the voice output during calls. Another notable aspect of this is the bone conduction technology, which packs an inbuilt bone voice sensor that catches the audio signals more efficiently.
It bears a high-sensitivity 14 mm dynamic driver and a dedicated bass tube for thumping bass output. You also get to control them via tap gestures.

The all-new earbuds are powered by the Kirin A1 Bluetooth chipset. And as for battery life, they boast 4 hours of music playback on a solo charge. While not in use, place them inside their charging case that claims to fuel for 20 hours of additional battery life.
They will be available in Ceramic White and Carbon Black variants. The sale details are yet to be disclosed. However, we expect it to launch next to the Mate X foldable, which is likely to make its return next month.
