For those unaware, Netflix recently strengthened its password-sharing policy so that one Netflix subscription owner isn’t able to share his/her password with endless people. While Netflix became aware of this trend a few years ago, the OTT giant recently changed its password-sharing policy to limit free viewing of content.

According to new rules, one can share his/her password with anyone residing in the same household. Those not living together won’t be able to share passwords. Suppose all family members live together in the same house. In that case, they can easily log into Netflix and access their profile on the same account. If any of them moves out and has to watch Netflix from somewhere else, they can still do it but will have to follow a verification process. The new rule was first implemented in the US, followed by other countries.
