The Chinese consumer tech brand Honor has released two new laptops in India: the MagicBook X14 Pro and the MagicBook X16 Pro. Both models will be available exclusively on Amazon. Some key highlights of the notebooks include a metallic metal finish, Intel’s Core i5-13420H processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Even though the company hasn’t declared the price and availability of the products, let’s explore the specifications and features.

The MagicBook X14 Pro features a 14-inch FHD screen with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, while the MagicBook X16 Pro features a 16-inch FHD screen. Some common display features across the lineup include Dynamic Dimming, a peak brightness of 300 nits, and support for 100 percent sRGB color gamut. These portable notebooks sport the 13th-generation Intel Core i5-13420H processor, which offers decent performance. Alongside the chipset, buyers can choose between 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

Powering the notebooks is a 60Whr battery that supports 65W fast charging and provides up to 11.5 hours of video playback. However, with multiple apps running simultaneously, the advertised battery life might drop to around eight to nine hours. Connectivity options include a USB-C port, one HDMI port, one USB-A 32 Gen 1/Gen 2 port, and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack.

Other features on the notebooks include Hi-Res stereo speakers, AI noise cancelation for the microphone, a fingerprint scanner for security, and a backlit keyboard (with three-level adjustment on the X16 Pro).

Out of the box, the MagicBook X14 Pro and MagicBook X16 Pro run on Windows 11 Home. Additionally, the company has also equipped these devices with 0.2mm ultra-thin blades that provide a 29700mm square cooling blade area. While the company has confirmed that the notebooks will be sold via the popular e-commerce platform Amazon, the price and availability of the products aren’t out yet.
