Honor is gearing up to launch its next Honor flagship, the Magic 2, on October 31. This phone has been teased earlier and is going to sport a slider mechanism to accommodate the front-facing camera and sensors on the lines of Oppo Find X. Now, ahead of its launch, the device specifications were spotted on TENAA certification website.

Honor Magic 2 Features

The Honor Magic 2 is going to feature a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It will allegedly be powered as usually with Huawei’s own chipset Hisilicone Kirin 980 SoC and will be bolstered with Mali-G76MP10 GPU. The phone will come in two variants, with the first variant encompassing an 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage while the second variant includes a 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. Going by the rumors the handset will not have an option to extend the memory with an external memory card.

The phone is going to feature a triple camera set up on the rear with the primary camera being a 16MP shooter, secondary 24MP sensor, and a tertiary 16MP shooter with telephoto lens. This will be supported with an LED Flash. On the front, the phone will feature a 16MP shooter with two additional TOF lenses to assist in 3D face unlocking. This phone will come out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie installed and will run on EMUI 9.0. Honor Magic 2 houses a 3400 mAh battery and is bundled with a 40W Magic charger. The phone is speculated to include an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. We will have to wait till the launch to get an idea about the pricing of the device.
