Sanjeev Kapoor-backed Wonderchef, a prominent kitchen appliance brand, has launched ‘Chef Magic’ which is an all-in-one Kitchen Robot in the country. The announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics World Expo held at Yashbhoomi, Delhi. The Chef Magic kitchen robot aims to transform the cooking experience with its advanced features and innovation.
Wonderchef Chef Magic: Price & Availability
The Wonderchef Chef Magic Kitchen Robot is available for Rs. 59,999 in India. Customers can pre-book the device on the website with a Rs. 5000 deposit. Those who pre-book will get the robot for an introductory price of Rs. 49,999. It retails via Wonderchef’s official website and leading appliance stores in the country.
According to the website, the deliveries will be on a first-come-first-serve basis with pre-booking customers receiving theirs within 45 days.

Wonderchef Chef Magic: Features
The Chef Magic robot is pre-loaded with over 200 recipes, curated by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor himself, with new recipes added every week. Users can even save their own recipes for the robot to follow later. The cookbook includes recipes for Indian, Continental, Jain, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and many other cuisines from across the world. The robot has a smartphone-like display that can be used to choose a recipe based on available ingredients. The recipes can also be chosen based on health needs like low-fat, diabetic-friendly, heart-healthy, or gut-friendly.
The Chef Magic Robot comes with various cooking functions like mixing, chopping, steaming, roasting, poaching, sauteing, stirring, frying, blending, and kneading. All the functions can happen at the same time in the jar. It comes with a built-in weighing scale for accurately measuring the quantity of required ingredients and adding them accordingly. Two steamers can be used for boiling and cooking.

It connects to WiFi to get weekly recipe updates based on customer preferences. The mobile app allows users to operate the robot remotely and track cooking progress from anywhere in their home.
Maintaining the robot is simple as well. It automatically cleans itself within 3 minutes using its built-in cleaning tool. The robot supports smartphone connectivity that allows you to track the progress of cooking. The appliance has been designed to encourage home cooking and users have only to enter ingredients in the jar, after which the robot will complete all operations until the dish is prepared.
As part of its launch offers, Wonderchef is offering a 2-year doorstep warranty on its Chef Magic kitchen robot. The company aims to sell over 40k units of the robot in the next three years.
“Chef Magic is a connected device that will remain dynamic and engaging through weekly recipe updates based on customer preferences. Users can easily download these new recipes by briefly connecting the machine to WiFi” Ravi Saxena, Founder and CEO of Wonderchef said.
He also mentioned how the inspiration for Chef Magic came from Europe and it was customized for Indian cooking. The company claims that Chef Magic has received over 1000 pre-bookings within a month.

Wonderchef’s plans for 2024-2025
Backed by chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Wonderchef is one of the leading kitchen appliances brands in the country with over 20,000 retail stores across the nation. The company has set a target of making 820 crores in FY25, with its strengths being new product ranges, distribution expansion, and e-commerce expansion. The company is also planning to list its IPO in 2026.
