Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has released a new device for India today at an event held in New Delhi. This phone which has been named as Honor 8X will be available as an Amazon exclusive product in India. The Honor 8X was launched earlier last month in China and looks similar to the Honor 7X.
Honor 8X Features
Honor 8X comes with a large 6.5-inch Full HD+ display LCD Display and a notch on the top. It is enclosed in an aluminum case with a 2.5D curved dual texture reflective glass back. The phone also comes with TUV Rheinland certification for unique eye comfort mode which reduces blue light radiation. Honor 8X is powered by Huawei’s latest HiSilicon Kirin 710 Octa-core processor enhanced by GPU Turbo which is deemed to provide a good user experience. It comes with a RAM of 4GB/6GB coupled with internal storage of 64GB/128GB. There is an option to expand storage upto 400GB with a microSD card which has its own dedicated slot.
The phone features a dual cameras setup on the rear, of which the primary one is a 20MP shooter with f/1.8 aperture and the second one is a 2MP depth sensor. The phone includes a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture on the front for selfies. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back.

The phone is powered by a 3750 mAh battery which supports fast charging. Honor 8X runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with Huawei’s EMUI 8.2 on the top. Honor has also added the feature to directly find a product online by pointing the phone’s camera towards the product. This feature is accomplished with the help of AI.
Honor 8X Price and Availability
The phone will be available in two colors namely: Black and Blue. Honor 8X will be sold in India for a price of Rs.14,999 for the 4GB +64GB variant, Rs.16,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant and Rs.18,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The phone will be available for purchase from October 24 exclusively on Amazon India.
