Google unveils new features for WearOS and Android

Google released nine new features for WearOS and Android OS at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. The features will also help in boosting productivity and accessibility, productivity, and even increase the fun factor on all your devices. Some of the most important features are the Maultisearch. The company also announced that Android devices would also get the ‘Search Your screen’.

New tap to pay animation and Emoji Kitchen

Google wallet is all set to bring new animations for the confirmation of your in-application store purchases. The users will get to see funny animals and others while making in-app purchases on the Google Play Store.

All set to do experiments with the emojis in the kitchen. The Gboard will allow the users to combine more emojis on the keyboard to create new ones. The feature was introduced for the keyboard a long time ago. As of now, more emojis will be able to be edited in the Emoji Kitchen.

Audio enhancements and fast pair

Google has also introduced a noise cancellation feature for Android smartphone devices so that users can get rid of background noises. It will remove voices from construction sites, noisy rooms, and more. In addition, Chromebook will, if they have been already paired with an Android phone, can connect to devices automatically.

New Shortcuts for Google Keep and Annotation of PDFs Google Drive

You will get to see two new shortcuts in Google Keep to enable note and to-do list creation via one tap on a Wear operating system by Google smartwatch. Moreover, users will be able to keep track of upcoming events or shopping lists with the new Google Keep single note widget. The same displays background colours, images added via the Keep application, and event reminders. Apart from that, the users can also use a stylus or even just touch the screen to annotate PDFs in the Google Drive application for Android devices. They can also try different stroked of ink to provide notes or feedback freehand or even use the highlighter tool for saving important text. Hide, undo, delete, or save a new copy of your annotated documents.

Android Customization and accessibility options

Currently, you can also adjust the size of the content that gets displayed on Chrome, including the videos, images, and texts. The preferred content size can also be set as default. You can try the same out in the Chrome Beta by visiting Settings and then heading to accessibility. Wear OS 3+ has also unveiled two new sound and display modes to improve the accessibility of the watch. The Mono-audio aids in reducing any kind of disorientation due to the split audio.
