Google recently launched the much-awaited Google Pixel 7 series along with the Google Pixel watch on a global level. While the fans are still looking forward to exploring these gadgets, new rumours regarding Google’s flagship foldable smartphone. Recently, the launch timeline of the device has been revealed online. A day ago, Ronald Quandt tweeted regarding the foldable Google Pixel smartphone and said that he missed it in the Pixel 7 series launch.

In reply to that, Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young said that the foldable panel shipment to Google will start in January 2023, and the foldable smartphone by the company will arrive somewhere around the end of Q1 2023.

Nonetheless, this comes out as a hard pill to swallow as Google has not made any official announcement regarding the same. Previous leaks regarding the foldable phone also point towards the fact that the device will be known as Google Pixel Notepad. The design of smartphone will also have a book-like foldable design that will look more like the Oppo Fold N.

What can we expect in terms of specifications and features of the Google Pixel foldable phone?

The Google Pixel foldable device will most probably work on the Google Tensor G2 processor. The smartphone will operate on the latest Android 13 operating system, which will be customized for the foldable screen. We can get to see a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 10MP telephoto shooter, and an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter.

As for the pricing of the smartphone, Google will be looking out to compete with the foldable series of Samsung, so we can see a similar price point. There are no leaks or information regarding the front camera, screen dimensions, and other specifications of the Google Pixel foldable smartphone. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the device in the coming months.
