TL; DR
  • Leaked pricing points to a consistent price hike across the Pixel 11 lineup compared to the Pixel 10.
  • All three models reportedly drop the 128GB base in favor of 256GB storage.
  • Batteries are said to shrink slightly across the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL variants.

With the Made by Google event now just weeks away, a fresh leak suggests the Pixel 11 series won’t just look familiar. It could also cost noticeably more than its predecessor. While that was something Google had already confirmed (sort of), the leak also mentioned that we could get smaller batteries at higher asking prices.

Pixel 11 Prices Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Tipster Roland Quandt has shared expected UK pricing for the Pixel 11 lineup, and the numbers point to a consistent jump over the Pixel 10 series. The Pixel 11 is tipped to cost GBP 879 (about ₹1,12,000) for 256GB, compared to the Pixel 10’s GBP 799 (about ₹1,01,000) for 128GB.

The Pixel 11 Pro is expected at GBP 1,079 (about ₹1,37,249.99) for the same storage tier, up from the Pixel 10 Pro’s GBP 999 (about ₹1,27,073.90) launch price for 128GB. On the other hand, the Pixel 11 Pro XL could reach GBP 1,279 (about ₹162690.21), a jump from the Pixel 10 Pro XL’s GBP 1,199 (about ₹152514.12) starting price.

The Leak Also Points Toward Smaller Batteries

A Google executive has reportedly acknowledged the price increase (without confirming the exact prices), attributing it to rising component costs and to the decision to drop the 128GB base storage option in favor of 256GB across the entire series. The same leak claims the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL will carry 4,985mAh, 4,850mAh, and 5,115mAh batteries respectively.

Although not much, the battery capacities of the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL seem like a slight downgrade on paper. However, Google could offset it with a more efficient chipset under the hood: the Tensor G6.

Even so, I’d want to see how that plays out in real-world endurance before writing it off as a wash. The Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5 are expected to debut at the Made by Google event on August 12.
