Google has been the constant market leader in mobile photography with its pixel devices. Their single camera module seems to achieve what other smartphones fail to attain even after employing multiple cameras.

They accomplish this by fine-tuning their software to provide exceptional results. It can be unequivocally stated that their camera software is the best one available right now in the market, and even though these are optimized for Google phones, developers have managed to port these on other phones with similar hardware.

A lot of developers around the globe work on extending the support of Google Camera to the latest smartphones and this is usually referred to as Google Camera Port. Currently extensive slogging is done to bring Pixel 3 Camera application to Snapdragon 845 based devices. As we know Xiaomi Poco F1 also uses the latest Snapdragon 845 processor and hence makes it plausible to import the camera application.

This new camera application allows you to capture some great looking night shots as a result of the newly implemented Night Sight feature of the Pixel 3. This manages to snap stunning low light photos by using machine learning instead of relying on LED flashlight.

This modded camera application will work with Android 9 Pie ROMs or Pie-based MIUI Beta ROMs. Currently, the modified app supports features such as Night Sight, ZSL HDR+, HDR+ Enhanced, portrait mode on the rear and front cameras and video recording up to 4K 30FPS. The camera port is known to be facing issues related to Electronic Image Stabilization, video focus and slo-mo video capture. So this camera port cannot be quite considered as a comprehensive substitute.
