Gionee F205 and S11 Lite With 18:9 Full Vision Displays Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features

The Chinese phone manufacturer Gionee has launched two of its new smartphones, the Gionee F2015 and S11 Lite, in India. These are the same smartphones with exactly the same innards that were globally launched by Gionee back in November last year, so most of the specifications look lacklustre by the current standards.

Gionee S11 Lite and Gionee F205 Features

Both Gionee S11 Lite and F205 come with an 18:9 full view display. The S11 Lite sports a 5.70-inch HD+ display with a 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top whereas the F205 boasts of a 5.45-inch screen which also gets the 2.5D glass cover on top. Gionee is offering both devices with a fingerprint sensor as well as face recognition.

Under the hood, the Gionee S11 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 430 chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. For photography, it boasts of 13MP + 2MP dual sensors at the rear side and a 16-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies.

The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and houses 3030mAh battery.

The Gionee F205, on the other hand, rocks quad-core MT6739 chip, mated with 2GB of RAM and 16Gb inbuilt storage – expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 5-megapixel sensor on the front and an 8-megapixel sensor on the back. It also runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and houses a 2,670mAh battery.

Additionally, Gionee has added a ‘private space’ and a ‘fake private space’ to both phones. You can unlock private space with two passwords, one will unlock your real private space and the other will take you to a fake one.

Gionee F205 and S11 Lite Price and Availability

Gionee has pitched the device in the budget and mid-budget segment, making it compete against more powerful the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5-series. The Gionee S11 Lite has been priced at Rs. 13,999 whereas the Gionee F205 comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. They will be available for sale in both online and offline stores in multiple color options.
