vivo V80 FE & vivo V80 Lite 5G appear in the GSMA database

Under normal circumstances, smartphone manufacturers begin work on the next series only after announcing all models of the current generation. As you may recall, Vivo recently unveiled the vivo V70 FE, a powerful member of the series. Now, all eyes are on another member of the family, the vivo V70 Lite 5G, whose official launch is eagerly anticipated.

However, while Vivo is counting down the days to officially announce this model, the registration of the vivo V80 Lite 5G and vivo V80 FE models, both next-generation models, in the IMEI database has created a major surprise in the leak community. The commercial names of the devices are clearly visible in the shared GSMA records.

What were the vivo V70 FE’s features?

This early leak comes on the heels of the success of vivo’s highly acclaimed vivo V70 FE model, which is already on the market. This powerful model in the series stands out with the following technical specifications:

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7360 (4 nm)
  • Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1900 nits brightness
  • Resolution: 2800 × 1260 pixels (1.5K)
  • Memory and Storage: 8 GB RAM / 256 GB internal storage
  • Rear Camera: 200 MP main camera + 8 MP ultra-wide-angle
  • Front Camera: 32 MP selfie camera
  • Battery: 7000 mAh capacity and 90W fast charging support
  • Durability: IP68 and IP69 water/dust resistance certification

Final Thoughts

The clearest detail here is that the vivo V70 Lite 5G model, with model number V2615, will be officially unveiled very soon. Vivo’s product launch schedule is proceeding as planned; however, due to the company’s early trademark moves, the footsteps of the vivo V80 series have already been heard even before the vivo V70 Lite 5G has hit the market.

In the coming days, Vivo is expected to first unveil the V70 Lite 5G model, followed by taking official steps regarding the new vivo V80 series, which was spotted in the database earlier.
