The vivo V40 series, launched last month, has already made waves with its impressive features, and now, vivo is gearing up to release the vivo V40e 5G by the end of this month. We’ve got exclusive details on what this new addition to the series will bring.
According to our sources, the vivo V40e 5G will sport a 6.78” curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the same premium display seen on the V40 and V40 Pro. So, expect 4,500 Nits of peak brightness and 1,200 Nits of HBM.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which also powers the OPPO Reno12 and other devices in the ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 price segment.
Camera-wise, the V40e 5G will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Up front, you’ll find a 50 MP selfie camera, likely the Samsung JN1, similar to the V40 Pro.

A key highlight would be the slim design, housing a massive 5500 mAh battery. While the exact charging speed is yet to be confirmed, the device will also come with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. It will run on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 out of the box.
Color options include Monsoon Green and Royal Bronze, and the device will be available in two variants: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The expected price range is between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000, placing it in competition with the OPPO F27 Pro+ and OPPO Reno 12.
