Camera-Centric Realme V5 5G to go official on August 3

Realme is gearing up to introduce V-series smartphones on August 3 and the first in line is Realme V5 5G. Apart from the launch date, the Chinese smartphone maker has also revealed a few specs details. This could be the camera-focused smartphone Realme talked about a few weeks back.

Realme V5 got listed on Chinese online retailers TMall and JD.com, revealing all there is to know.

Realme V5 5G Features 

The Realme V5 will get a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor enabled for 5G. The SoC has 8 CPU cores ticking at up to 2.0GHz. Realme V5 will allegedly ship in two RAM options – 6GB and 8GB – each with 128GB internal storage capacity.

The face of Realme V5 has a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The panel sports a punch hole at the left corner of the screen housing a 16MP selfie camera. At the back, Realme V5 features quadruple-camera comprising of 48MP primary Samsung sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP portrait sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

A Chinese tipster also claims that Realme could bring a high-end version of the Realme V5 as Realme V5 Pro. The Pro variant was spotted on TENNA and 3C with model number RMX2121 under V-series.

Realme V5 5G Price and Availability

The Realme V5 will be a mid-ranger and the exact price will be revealed at launch. The online listing reveals that the V5 will be available in three color shades- Blue, Green, and Silver. More details will be veiled off on August 3 after the official launch.
